About Us

Vee Brown is a native of Houston, Texas, whose career spans engineering, military leadership, and creative technology. She attended Alief Elsik High School from 2001–2005, where she earned a track scholarship to the University of Texas–Pan American. In 2010, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Biology.

That same year, Vanessa was commissioned as a Naval Officer after graduating from Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. Over more than 15 years of distinguished service in the United States Navy, she held leadership and technical roles across multiple duty stations, including California, Florida, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Washington, and New York, and deployed to the 4th Fleet in support of operations near South America.

As a Division Officer, Vanessa was responsible for personnel management, training, and the operation and maintenance of complex shipboard systems supporting Surface Warfare and Material Readiness. She spent two years in advanced Nuclear Propulsion training, where she mastered the physics of nuclear power and gained hands-on experience safely operating naval nuclear reactors and propulsion systems. Promoted to Department Head, she later served her final two tours as Chief Engineer, overseeing all propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems aboard.

Vanessa concluded her naval career in 2024 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander, bringing with her a deep commitment to precision, safety, and operational excellence. Transitioning to the civilian sector, she became an entrepreneur and owner of a startup Audio/Video Technology and Entertainment Company, while also providing independent contractor services as a DJ and Audio Technician.

Committed to lifelong learning, Vanessa continues to expand her technical expertise. She is currently studying Audio Engineering at Avant Media Institute and plans to pursue further education in Acoustics, Electronics, and AI.
